WTAF hit the airwaves back in 2001 as an experiment in radio programming known by call-sign WRZJ.

What would happen if there were no focus groups, no limit to the number of songs we played on air, and (of course) no commercials?  And people listened.  So we kept it going.   There were some challengers but they’ve all been beaten back to their Corporate Masters.

Now we call Charleston home. Give us a listen and let us know what you think.

This is Charleston’s new (commercial-free) rock alternative.

Locally owned, operated, and programmed.

This is FM92.
